Hop to It!

Easter is fast approaching, and I know for me this week has been full of surprises. For those also caught up in the tumult of beginning a new month plus the added stress of having to prep for a holiday, I thought I would offer some help!

I love just about everything about baking, especially around spring time. This season always seems to be when the best recipes and flavors come out. So, I thought I would share some of my favorite Easter recipes, that are not only fast and easy, but simply delicious.

For kids, I definitely think these White Chocolate Clusters would be so fitting! They are small, handheld snacks that are perfect to eat when hunting for eggs in the garden. I also love that this comes in so many different varieties, and you can even use salted nuts instead of just honey roasted peanuts to really punch up that salty to sweet ratio. This recipe also comes with the added ease of being cooked in a crockpot. Set it and forget it!

Nothing says Easter like rabbits and carrots. Carrot cake is one of my favorite cakes to not only eat but to bake as well. This Brown Sugar Cream Cheese Carrot Cake I especially like , since it is so simple to make. All you really need are the cake pans and then some carrots! I love that this recipe uses real carrots instead of having to perfect a fondant carrot or rabbit to put on top. This cake is both practical and looks incredible.

Dirt cakes were definitely one of my favorite desserts as a kid and one that we would frequently make in elementary school when learning about plants and animals. It was an unsurprisingly great way to get the kids interested in gardening. For this Easter, I think that these dirt cakes could really get any kid or any adult who is young at heart out into the fresh air

These are super cute and super easy to make! I especially love that these Bunny Cookies do not require a piping bag or much technical frosting know-how. Really the only downside is if you don’t like/are allergic to coconut. I believe that marshmallows would be a pretty good substitute.

Lastly for our Easter recipe idea list, we have to have something with eggs! These Easter Egg Brownies are so easy to make and have so few ingredients. Just like decorating regular Easter eggs you can have the kiddos come and help you decorate the eggs once they are cut from the pan.

All these recipes are so so fun and some I will definitely have to make for Easter myself this year. That Brown Sugar Carrot Cake certainly has my pick!
