Happy Birthday

So many birthdays to celebrate this month! 

From the beginning of May all the way to the end there have been multiple family birthdays. One of the more poignant birthdays this month happened to be for my cat. With so much love for cats from Cozy Cat Press, I felt it absolutely necessary to share the birthday of my 20 year old cat! She is so old but so healthy! Still loves to play practically every morning after her breakfast. We still are unsure how she has been able to live so long, but are overjoyed that she has. 

Say hello to Happy! 

While not originally my cat, Happy became a large part of my life after moving in with my boyfriend. He has had her and shared a room with her ever since he was in Kindergarten! According to his parents at the time, my boyfriend had two stuffed animal cats, one striped tabby and one all black kitty. When playing with them he named the tabby Happy and the black cat Scratcher. 

And miraculously, a close friend of the family discovered some stray cats living in their barn. They just so happened to be a tabby and a black cat, brother and sister! The match between cats and family was unbelievably perfect and my boyfriend’s family brought them home as soon as they could. While Happy’s brother Scratcher has since passed on, she has remained by my boyfriend’s side her whole life and I know she will continue to do so for many years to come.
